I’ve failed more times than most people are willing to try — but every failure became a lesson that built the person I am today.
My entrepreneurial journey started long before Moonlight Gallery. In 2018, I opened a billiards bar with my cousin in the Dominican Republic that didn’t make it past its first year. In 2019, I tried again — a hookah lounge and bar with my aunt — and watched that one collapse too. By 2020, I was lending money as a loan shark, chasing quick returns instead of real growth. That same year, I decided to bet on myself differently and opened Moonlight Gallery in both Long Island, New York, and Santiago, Dominican Republic — turning my passion for tattooing into purpose.
In 2021, I opened a restaurant by the sea, thinking I’d finally cracked the code, only to face another expensive lesson in management, consistency, and trust. Then came 2024, when I invested in a Med Spa in New York and lost over $300,000 — my biggest financial hit to date. That one broke me for a while. But it also forced me to look deeper — to rebuild not just my finances, but my mindset, my systems, and my understanding of what real success means.
Every loss shaped the foundation for what came next. With everything I learned — about leadership, discipline, and people — I poured it all into Moonlight Gallery. What started as two small studios has grown into a well-over six-figure business and a symbol of resilience, character, and relentless belief.
Today, I use those same lessons to help other artists and entrepreneurs scale their businesses, develop systems that actually work, and build sustainable success rooted in mindset and discipline.
Moonlight Gallery isn’t just a tattoo shop — it’s proof that failure only wins if you quit.
